CONFERENCEOn the 1st of September the Annual "Career Opportunities Day" will take place at the Scientific House, Jelgavas street 3, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
It is an annual exhibition of companies where the largest companies and organizations in Latvia participate. Attending “Career Opportunities Day” offers employers a chance to promote their company’s visibility, inform students about the services their company provides, or showcase products and technologies they are developing. During the event, informational display stands for companies will be set up. The exhibition will be a central meeting place to connect with motivated LU students, establish contacts with potential interns or employees, and provide students with information about employer requirements for successful integration into the job market.
By attending “Career Opportunities Day” events, students will be able to familiarize themselves with Latvian and international companies and organizations across various sectors, meet representatives in person, and learn about internship, summer, and permanent job opportunities. Meeting with employers deepens students’ understanding of the most demanded skills and competencies in the changing job market.
Information about participating companies will be published in a specially issued electronic catalogue called the "Career Guide." In the catalogue, students will learn about the company's work specifics, its staff, career opportunities within the company, and available internship or job vacancies.

1. Companies are invited to apply for participation in “Career Opportunities Day” by filling out the application form here: anketa LV, anketa ENG.
2. Each company is allocated one page in the electronic catalog "Career Guide":
the first page will feature a company business card designed according to a standard format,
the second page will contain company advertising in EPS or PDF format.
